Whenever I happen to have the older two children with me when I drop off Ella at daycare, I offer them the "opportunity" of taking Ella to the door. Taylor always refuses; Averi always accepts.
I had the pleasure of witnessing the sweetest scene this morning. Averi took Ella to the door and then indicated that Ella was allowed to ring the doorbell instead of just doing it herself!
A heart-melty moment...

Ahhh...So sweet! Tell Averi that Omi is blessed to have such a thoughtful and caring grand-daughter. And tell Ella that Omi thinks Ella should give her big sister a great big hug for teaching her to ring the door bell. (Can't really say for letting her because Ella may look at it wrong if phrased tht way.)
