Taylor was very excited to have one of Omi's home-baked Christmas cookies. He was told he would have to wait until after supper and so he patiently waited while carrying the bag home and throughout dinner. When the momentous occasion arrived, Averi finished her cookie before everyone else and begged for more. Daddy donated the rest of his cookie to her. Upon seeing this, Taylor broke off a piece of his treasured cookie and gave it to his daddy!
Since I was overwrought with tenderness at his gesture, I gave him the rest of my cookie--only sneaking two more bites from it later!
