Family Trip to the Zoo

Shawn, Taylor, Averi and I enjoyed a leisurely visit to the Calgary Zoo on May 15th. The weather was cooperative. The kids had fun even though the ray exhibit was closed due to death of over half the population.

A small class of 5 or 6-year-old girls played with Taylor while we took a break in the shade of a tree. He would chase them and they would chase him. When he would throw himself onto the ground to diffuse the situation, they would crowd around him making sure he was alright. He knew how to play them. We called them his "little harem." We have some footage but it's on the video camera which is not as easy to get on here as our digital camera clips.
