Had an eventful evening. I had forgotten (again) that my visiting teachers were coming over so had already put my PJs on. In the midst of their visit, Taylor presented with an odiferous diaper package that required immediate attention. I stuck him in the tub after cursory clean up and went back to visiting. Checking on him revealed that he had brought a friend into the tub with him: one of the bath towels. Deciding to take care of the issue after my visiting teachers had left, I returned to the living room. It was from here that we could hear Taylor drain the tub and I predicted that he would soon show up downstairs in the buck. No sooner had I said this, his head popped around the corner. I asked Taylor to go upstairs and get his diaper and instead he gleefully streaked over to where I was sitting. I finally persuaded him to go get the diaper I had put on the bathroom floor. He diligently fetched one... the dirty one!
I've started another Blog. It's entitled "One for the Books" and can be found at danasbooks.blogspot.com. Feel free to peruse though it's still in the construction phase.Tuesday, February 19, 2008
A Breath of Spring
The weather today was absolutely beautiful! There's barely any snow left and almost no need for a jacket. To celebrate, I put Taylor and Avi in short-sleeved shirts. For Avi, I pulled out a size-12-months Spring outfit that I had purchased on clearance at the beginning of winter, thinking it would fit her come Spring. I realized two things while dressing my 6-month-old baby: 1) she's growing like a weed, and 2) the shirt almost didn't fit her arms! I contemplated cutting it just to get it off her this evening when dressing her for bed! It looked really adorable on her though (see footage below).
