Our Most Recent Trip to Idaho, Part I

There are too many pictures and too much fun for just one post. I will be splitting it into the two parts of our trip: Rexburg and Boise/Nampa.

We left on Friday, June 27. As time has since passed, the details are hazy. I remember the specific time and place, though, that Shawn and I discussed the luxury of traveling in a minivan versus a compact car. It was like going on a cruise! Especially since we now had cruise.

Dad, Wendy, Shawn, the kids and I all enjoyed a hot afternoon at the new spray park in Rexburg. Porter Park also boasts the Idaho Centenniel Carousel. Taylor's clinging for dear life behind me.

Shawn enjoyed a golf trip with Dad and Keith, Wendy's son. There was lots of Rock Band played. We walked around nearby neighborhoods, noting Rexburg's growth. Best of all, was our trip to the new Rexburg temple on Canada Day. It's absolutely beautiful! Wendy informed us that the wood used throughout was imported from Africa. Dad has the pics we took outside in front but I'll try to get one up soon!

Dad and Wendy were landscaping their front yard so we spent a lot of time in it. Here's Grandma Harris and Avi.

We left for my sister's house in Nampa on Wednesday, July 2.
On our way back to Calgary on July 5th, we broke our trip in Rexburg for the night. Here's Avi admiring her handiwork in the kitchen.
